The Oracle of Luchnos

On Luchnos, those in need of guidance may come to the sacred grove in the central hills of the island, where the promantis (promantV) or prophêtes (profhteV) will transmit to each of them an oracle received from the Spirit which speaks in and through that place.  

Here in our modern, Western society, the continuity of tradition has been lost, but by patient efforts, and the grace of the Spirit,
  given generously to all, we can recover for ourselves something of our oracular, prophetic heritage.
